Anne Frank was betrayed aged 14 or 15 and transported to Bergen-Belsen where she passed. Or so story of her white privilege goes. In fact, she escaped transport and was hidden by Dutch Underground. After WW2 she made her way to Israel. Where she became a narcotics addict. She met an American guy there and moved to USA.. Met some Artists, and haunted Manhattan, around E. 17th., she said. Worked in Beverly Hills for a while, or was it Laurel Canyon? She told me that family money had been held in Bank voor Handel en Scheepvaart based in Rotterdam, Holland. Somehow the money ended up in USA, but not in Miss Frank's title. I heard she moved to rural France and practices irony when necessary. Anyway, here is her portrait, aged 30. double reported age of her death. Somewhat heavier, somewhat sarcastic, and she's been around the block a few times. She told me she was well aware of the "secular saint", the Icon, she had become. She saw how her experiences; her memory had been institutionalised. And thus thought it better that the most ordinary person she really was remain hidden. Especially from T.V. She was never an Iconoclast. No Titanium White was used in the making of this portrait. However: soft and warm Flake White was.

Lowborn, not a Virtue-Signaller, lacking Luxury Beliefs or their status, but neither an inverted snob, nor a snob. Definitely not intersected. US Cultural Marxism or post-truth? Thanks, but no thanks. Orphaned, outcast, male, straight, white, capitalist (a tiny fish in a very big pond), quite conservative in fiscal and social matters. In long term and friendly relationship. Prankster, yet pragmatic, singular, evolved, authentic, ironic, sardonic, sceptical. Comparatively deprived early life. Which has had permanent effect. Not least in being grateful, for what I've got. And for true opportunities both recognisable and takeable. These themes within some of these works. Never faked a sarcasm too. Personally loyal to those who have tried to, or have, helped. What else is a man of honour to do? Really enjoy painting, sometimes. In silence, without media lies etc., noticed sound of own breathing as I paint. Expressive, rather than regular! Still learning after all these years. Thank you for your interest.
