What I want to say through the work of Antic and Utopia is plain communication. The world of painting is a work that enables the world in canvas created by the artist and the public to talk about each other's ideals and present. https://www.youtube.com keisyu83 Artist Jeong Seong-won hopes to convey a surreal world through his paintings to a public whose emotions are withering in our less-than-ideal society. He wishes for them to take a happy journey and converse within the canvas. Through a fairytale-like world, he shares the pure happiness and beauty that people long for, healing their souls and conveying warmth and comfort. The flowers, balloons, and apples that appear in his paintings are used as objects to carry messages of happiness. These objects are based on his precious childhood memories of eating apples, seeing cherry blossoms, and flying balloons with his parents. Instead of big ears that have to listen to all the gossip in the world, there are graceful rabbits with flowers on them, as if they would only accept beautiful language. There are delicate deer with lilies instead of horns, which are tools for fighting. There are sheep living in a beautiful space with cherry blossoms falling, and sheep flying in the sky with balloons. Through these paintings, he aims to transform the emotions of weary modern people into happiness. He also finds his own happiness in expressing this ideal world.
