ABOUT THE ARTWORK
There is something fascinating about birds. Not just their ability to fly, but also the way they behave, their alien look, the beauty of the patern of their feathers. I saw wild pelicanos for the first time during a trip to Chile, in the coast of Antofagasta. It was a truly experience to see them cut the air with their majestic figure, the power they transmitted in their flight. The coast of Antofagasta is truly a special place, with the blue of the Pacific Ocean on one side and the earthly tones of the desert just a few meters away of the shore. Not specially beautiful, but one could feel this sense of wilderness that I so often miss in everyday life.
