Rossana Pinero's artworks include painting, drawing , photography and mixed-media installations. She is passionate about nature, historical sites and in her work these concepts come through always filtered by her own perceptions. When working on installations, she often incorporates objects from the sites and locations where she works. She has exhibited in a variety of locations throughout the world including the US, Italy,Mexico and France.She divides her time between Europe and the Americas. "My work evokes nature, it is constantly inspired by nature and the aspects of nature that relate to human existence, my work is about emotion, about what I feel towards life and living, about my fears, dreams, and deepest longings. I make it a purpose to work instinctively and allow my body to engage in the art-making process, I have often created works in collaboration with Theater directors, choreographers, musicians, actresses, and dancers. I search for spontaneity and essence as a way to truth, I am curious to investigate a variety of mediums but still have a particular love for painting.
