Biography, in short... Born in Tunis (1956) as the third child of Sarah and Elie, Rene is living and creating in Israel where he immigrated with his family (1969). Self-taught artist, and although devoid of any formal artistic education , he became an accomplished 'impressionism' specialist painter. Rene did many group and solo exhibitions worldwide: Israel, France, Italy (Minsk - Kiev - Odessa - Paris - Jerusalem - Novosibirsk - Tel-Aviv - Florence) and so on. About 'La Periode Jaune' (The Yellow Period' in French): A 'Tetradist' pioneer in Plastic Art? (a term derived from the 'Tetradic Color Scheme'), maybe, it depend in which perspective we are looking and who we are asking... others artists already used these spectral colors scale in Posters, Graphics, Comics, and here and there in visual arts somehow, but moderately (if at all) in plastic art, as well as we know at least. Strongly influenced by the so intensive sunlight and clarity of his country, Rene adopted over the years this color synthesis to create his own and unique personal style ('The Yellow Period"). Dear guests, we sell & send safe original artworks via Artworks are numbered & registered and mostly untitled. An 'Authenticity Certificate' dedicated, dated and signed, will be appended to each original artwork. Important suggestion: for more appropriate visual results, it would be better to see Rene artworks in different screens (like computer, cellphone, TV, etc...). Thank you!
