ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is one of my most favourite paintings from 2023. This painting was inspired from a visit to Chateau de Malmaison when I was in Paris with my family. The beautiful garden of this house was a key inspiration to my painting as was the particular time of the day which created the interesting shadows of the trees. In this painting I really like the contrast between light and shade and also the feeling of depth and perspective. This painting gives an overall positive vibe and the style is very impressionistic with bold brushstrokes to capture the scene.

Born on the 31st August, 1981 and is from Qormi, Malta. Art is her passion! She is fascinated by colours and the harmony they bring into a composition. Oil is her favourite medium, however she loves painting with acrylic, watercolours and also with soft pastels. She derives inspiration mostly from nature. Whilst painting in her studio she prefers to work with some inspiring musical pieces by various artists namely Ludovico Einaudi which is her favourite, but also Andrea Vanzo and Hans Zimmer. This creates the perfect mood as she shuts off from the outer world and immerses herself into the magical world of art.
