ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The abstraction of the landscape is something that I am interested in. I enjoy puzzling over the shapes of colors to form the elements of nature. When we look at the forest, there is a sense of the universe. There are small insects and bigger animals in it. They are often hidden or camouflaged for their survival. I want my paintings to work to discover the shapes in nature and for the viewer to find themselves connecting their memory of nature with its color shapes and enjoy its process.
