The air is crisp, with a hint of spice, A pumpkin patch, a harvest's advice. Sunsets ablaze, a farewell kiss, As daylight dwindles, in quiet bliss. A quilt of leaves carpets the earth, A mosaic of memories, of summer's mirth. The geese in formation, a V-shaped song, A migration to where they truly belong. Cider and cinnamon in the zephyr's breath, A comforting chill, a prelude to death. Yet, in this cycle, a promise is sown, In every ending, a new seed is grown.
