I began painting graffiti when I was 14 years old. I had become obsessed with the art form as well as the risks that came with painting along freeways. After spending several years pushing myself in the graffiti world, it's consequences caught up with me. I was sent to jail and sentenced to a year. While in jail I continued to push myself artistically and soon found myself selling drawings to other inmates for candy bars and ramen. When I was released I knew I wanted to continue to paint and decided to dedicate myself to improving my skills so I could start selling my work. I started painting legal graffiti walls and began building my resume of artwork from there. I built a website and began advertising as a artist who could paint live for events. This was my first real break as an artist as I began getting jobs painting during events and parties.
