My work is first and foremost about colour and how colours play together. Next is circles and what they represent to me and last but not least lines and the connects they bring. I enjoy working with bright bold colours and putting colours together which sometime jar but generally complement each other. Circles for me represent hugs. Hugs come in all shapes and sizes from family members, friends, lovers, a new baby, a sick friend, from birth to death we experience many different types of hugs. Lines are the connections between those hugs, sometime they are bright bold and obvious but more often they are subtle or hidden below the surface of the many layers applied. All emotions are explored in my work with most positive but sometimes negative too. I use acrylic for my bigger works, sometime incorporating collage. For my smaller works on paper, watercolour, acrylic, pastel, pen and inks and all employed depending on the mood.
