I was born in South Africa in 1959. I started working at the South African Broadcasting Corporation in 1980, at first as a sound engineer, but later also as a journalist, copywriter and cameraman/video editor. I started painting seriously in 2009. I work mostly in oils but also in acrylic. I prefer working with a paint knife in a somewhat impressionistic style. My subject matter are mostly South African landscapes and seascapes.
