ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspired by the beautiful Balinese women, who sit to pray and sing at the tempo. They create offerings with flowers, coconut leaves, incense aromas and carry objects that are transported on their heads. They have a divine walk that I love, and we decided to portray the stillness and peace that they preserve in time, full of beauty, and willing to give with gratitude. This is the largest size work I have ever done, in acrylic on a varnished canvas.
