About The Artwork
The original concept to this is my painting Grey, 30"x40" acrylic on stretched canvas. As I've started playing with aluminum, a good friend suggested I give her another go. The barbs are etched out in this piece and she's a bit more torn and ragged. The first time around, the painting was about me feeling isolated and stuck. Over the years, I have felt less this way but she continues to speak to me. She's a reminder that feelings and realities are not always the same.
