My name is Silvio (Brazo is in memory of Denis), I was born years ago in Torino, north of Italy. Why I’m painting? I think that there isn't nothing poetic in this, I apologize to those who love this kind of stuff but for me nothing has happened like a light or things like that… The truth its very simple. I still remember exactly how my interest in drawing and painting was born. When I was a child, about in the age of 8-10, I was enchanted by my father's drawings and in particular by a copy of Van Gogh self portrait done from him with pencils. It was perfect, amazing! Since then, I told myself that I wanted to learn to draw like my father to tell emotions, the same that I felt at seeing my father's work. And that’s all, nothing more! Now, after a period in which I was lost thinking that in life there are more important things, I picked up painting again. I have always been interested in colours and signs , for the emotions that they can give and the stories that can hide behind those ancestral signs Tell emotions through the colours , have the freedom to draw signs on the canvas without remembering the teachings but following pure instinct is what guides me. It's not easy but this is the challenge that I have accepted.
