Offensichtlichen Einfluss auf ihre Kunst hatten nicht zuletzt ihr USA-Aufenthalt Anfang der 80er Jahre, der sich oft mehr oder weniger direkt auf ihren großformatigen Bildern zum Thema „Pin-Up & Politik“ widerspiegelt, als natürlich auch ihre zwanzigjährige Tätigkeit für ein Unternehmen der Golfbranche, die erst 2014 endete, als sich Roswitha Kammerl entschied, Golf Tours St. Andrews () zu erwerben.
