ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Beautiful struggle took me months to create. I had a hard time making this painting, every time I put it aside I found myself going back to it and adding more and more. As I added layers it transformed into a beautiful landscape of the soul. I find this piece to be very similar to my art journey, every time I decide to give up on it if I jus keep going and add a little bit more I can create something beautiful.

Painting from the Soul I think my work is a portrayal of how I wish the world was. Wouldn't it be nice if you walked outside and saw all that color, all that beauty? The reflection of light in nature is my inspiration. My process can only be described as intuitive. I get an urge to create something and then I create it. There is no plan. No map. I just do it. Many people ask if what they believe they see in my art is "right" or what they were meant to see. My answer is, if you see it, then you were meant to see it. The art decides what it wants to be. I'm just one tool required for the destination.
