Sharon Westbrook is a professional artist from Aiken, SC now living in Jacksonville Beach, FL. After graduating from college in her 30's, she was juried into a national show in New York and represented by the top gallery in the US. However, in order to support her young children she returned to work in the legal field. At the urging of her children when she was 50, she quit her corporate job and returned to her art and has had the most successful years of her life. Sharon's art has been purchased by private collectors whose collections include Picasso, Chagall and Andy Warhol. She has been represented by top galleries throughout the U.S. and won many awards in juried fine art shows. Her work has been exhibited at Miami Art Basel and she has been invited to exhibit in France. Her design was chosen by PBS television for a "national" campaign and her art was selected for a public sculpture. Many homes and commercial buildings designed by acclaimed architects in U.S. display her work.
