Bed With a View Print

I wanted to paint my wife's first-ever photo of a moose lying in the snow. For a background I chose the Hazelton Range mountains that are at the west end of the Bulkley Valley. Everyone had told my South African wife (RIP) how big a moose is, but she wasn't so impressed when she got to see her first one... she was used to rhinos, elephants and giraffes. I wanted to present her moose with a serene calmness in a modest place with an awesome setting.
