ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I felt compelled to paint a bee and fell in love with painting them. The bright purple flowers and the uplifting orange, red, and yellow colors brings me joy. Anyone with an appreciation for nature, especially gardening, knows how important bees are to the cycle of life. I enjoy recreating nature through my paintings and hope that other nature-lovers will enjoy this painting as well.

I was raised in Clearwater, FL. For as long as I can remember I have had a yearning to paint. In June 2017, I enrolled in an acrylic painting class at Dazzio Art Studio in St Petersburg, FL. After 18 months, I started exploring on my own and continue to hone my skills as an artist. I completed my first commissioned painting in January 2020 and have been featured in exhibits at the St Pete ArtsXchange and Tampa Regional Artists. “I attempt to be courageous in my use of color and I am enamored with the way light touches objects.
