ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Author:Noktys Mixed tehnique: Oil on paper,Fine Art paper ,linked profesional on strong plywood. All copyright reserved by Noktys Art House This painting is sold accompanied by the certificate of authenticity and the description of the author, being attached on the back of the painting Author's description: „With 500 years before our era, wanting to travel to Scythia, Herodotos finds out from the inhabitants on the right bank of Istr (today's Danube) that on the other bank of the river in today's Baragan is dangerous to travel because of the crowd of his work, "Anabassis," the Greek historian Xenophon also said that, besides vegetables, milk and some meat, honey was a basic food for the Traco-Dacians. Looking at the window of a train, the Baragan always seemed to me a fairy tale. In summer, endless surfaces of sunflower cultures, wheat, corn or rape ripen under the hot rain of solar energies.. Among them,a lot of bees gathering nectar for millenia. That's why ,while running by train ,a bee garden suddenly appears to you near a curtain of trees, you feel yourself shimmered by the sensation that you are back in time, in the time of Dromichete. The artwork was inspired by the desire to reconstitute that timeless atmosphere of patriarchal peace and tranquility in which a stable nation structured its existence in harmony with nature.„
