ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I love creating skies with oil paint. It is a delight to work with, blending and adding, brushing colours together, until finally a sky emerges. This painting was originally just going to be an empty seascape but I decided it was too empty. However I wanted to put in a subject that complimented the emptiness. I hope you agree the Cormorant does that. This high quality chunky canvas is ready to hang. The sides are finished neatly in dark grey.
