I like to paint a variety of subjects and experiment with different styles and tools. The work of Norman Rockwell was an inspiration in my youth, as I grew older I was motivated by the works of Monet, Pissarro, and Manet. Every painting I view gives me a glimpse into how different strokes of color can create beauty. My goal is to create works that inspire other artists. I'm frequently asked to paint pet portraits and have donated portraits to shelters as gifts for animals that are adopted. I also participate in auctions for various charities to paint pet portraits for the highest bidders.
