ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This huge towering, immense thunderhead developed late of sunlit afternoon over the freshly baled pasture. It begged to be painted in all its glory. As the artist captured the moment, she remembered another late summer afternoon many years earlier when her then small daughter looked up and noticed a similar huge thunderhead and said with joy and amazement, "Look momma, a big Cloudyhead". Thus the work was named, Big Oklahoma Cloudyhead. It was sold right off my easel before it was finished but it is available for prints. Hope the viewer enjoys the picture as much as the artist enjoyed painting it!
