BinArtism™, is a painting method where an image is created using only the binary number system - just two symbols: the binary digit or bit "0" (zero) and the binary digit or bit "1" (one). In BinArtism™, human, animal, or other silhouettes are represented by the binary digits "0" (zero) and "1" (one). Typically, the binary digit "0" (zero) represents the female symbol and "1" (one) the male symbol respectively. In BinArtism™, the image background usually has a short phrase or word expressed in binary code. BinArtism™ is the Trademark of Tak Salmastyan Art, and the BinArtism™ painting style was invented and developed by Armenian born American artist Tak Salmastian as a direct result of modern life.
