Bird Print

This artwork is a part of the Mountainscape Miniature Series that I have been working on. This particular painting is inspired from the view from out the window. I woke up to this view for the week that spent there, and in all honesty, there is nothing more calming that waking up to a view like this fresh morning breeze caressing my face. The mountains brew in me a sense of serenity. Through creating miniatures, I not only want to encapsulate the serenity and magic I felt but share it with my viewers and buyers. I am a major enthusiast of miniature paintings. Given how the Indian art history shaped up because of miniatures is something every art lover must read about. This painting is a testament to my love for the mountains and my appreciation for the miniatures. Painting with oil paints gives me the time and many a chances to look at my work with a fresh vision. I take my time with each stroke, mixing colours to get them right among other things.
