About The Artwork
This painting is framed and is wired for hanging. The dimensions listed on this site are for the image within the frame. The actual frame itself is not accounted for in the listed dimensions. The actual dimensions of the frame are 26.5 x 26.5 x 1 inches. I was inspired to paint this idea, based on a photo I took of a beautiful flowery tree, while strolling around in Beverly Hills. This painting was a sequel to the first painting I did on this theme called “Branches at NYC Park”. For more information on these 2 paintings, please refer to my YouTube video about them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpRumv4vxAQ This painting is a metaphor for our inner growth: a new project, a new “You”, a new beginning. Life always brings new chances and opportunities. Whenever there is spring, there is rebirth. Especially after the Winter, when everything in nature is devoid of life and the trees are barren of leaves and fruits, one can then appreciate the bloom of flowers and the chirping of birds, as well as the sunnier days, when everything is reborn again and has new life, during Spring. Kabbalistically, the beginning of the new year is not in January, but actually is the very start of the Spring season, which usually falls towards the end of March. That is why Passover falls in the first month of the Spring season (Aries), so that every human being no matter what background, has the opportunity to free themselves from their own negativity, just as nature during the Spring seems to free itself from the cold and blockages represented by Winter. Oil on canvas has always been my chosen medium, since I was inspired by my master art teacher Monique Baudaux to follow this artistic path since the 1990s. My style is impressionist. Many have stated that my paintings remind them of a combination of Monet and Renoir. This is no coincidence, since I highly admire their work and style.
