Birth of Venus This painting is a new look at the birth of venus. All of God's creations are in awe of her. Some are jealous too. This artwork is from my series "Creation Tales 2.0". In this series, I take a new look at the tales of creations in various cultures across the oceans. Working on this series has helped me gain new insights into the evolution of humanity. 'What if God wants to take a second chance?' Here is the story of His new attempt at creation. He is omnipotent, he can create anything. But he has grown old. Mistakes do happen. The paintings in this series take off from the old tales of creation around the world. This series is as much about myself as it is about the tales of creation. Just when it is time to retire, I am on a new journey of creation. About Myself: I am an artist creating fun tales in color. Inspiring the viewer to dream. What if...? I am inspired by fables from myriad cultures around the world. Painting is an act of meditation for me. I use figurative abstracts to tell my stories. My art style has evolved from years of illustrating comics and stories. I am influenced by the works of Picasso, Paul Klee, Chagall, and Arshile Gorkey. I use acrylics on canvas to create layers of abstract expressions. I often use allegories and symbols in my narratives. While I work, unintended characters join the story across the canvas, weaving yarns of their own.
