ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Used to visit a farmer in Canterbury NH - he let us ride his stallion "Blackie" in the deep snow. A wild ride at best - a 4 year old!! Lucky we were in spite of having no sense of personal safety. We nick named him lightning because he was so fast even though he was kind of chunky. Blackie just came out of nowhere and just appeared! This is within my style of painting - I just start painting - and whatever the paint looks like as I am painting - I accentuate what I see. Kind of like an ink blotter test. I love watching horses in how they move. Acrylics are affordable, but I do love to paint with acrylics as much as I do oils and charcoal drawing.
