Contact us.Christina Willis is a visual artist based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She combines traditional acrylic painting techniques with digital aesthetics, geometric motifs, and organic forms. Christina is also the author and illustrator of the children's book "But I'll Fly” (2019).
Her recent series, "Analog Blooms in the Digital Void," explores humanity's shift from a tangible analog existence to an increasingly digitized one. Through her signature use of vibrant acrylics and geometric motifs, Christina creates a visual connection between traditional botanical subjects and the "glitch" aesthetics of the modern era. By placing delicate organic forms against grids and high-contrast patterns, the paintings symbolize life's resilience within the "void" of a digital environment.
Each piece invites the viewer to contemplate the tension between the unpredictable curves of life and the rigidity of the tech-driven systems we navigate daily. Through her art, Christina encourages viewers to reflect on their own relationship with technology and consider what is gained or lost as our world becomes increasingly digitized.
