"Bleu vertical" belongs to the "Transparencies" series, an abstract series inspired by Nadée's residences and travels in India and Venice. This series talks about transparency, feeling, evocation, spirituality, temporality, beyond; Beyond color, beyond matter, beyond light, ... Mixed media - tempera painting with natural pigments, gold powder, oil pastels - on canvas This work of pigments and gold allows Nadée to find the transparency and luminosity that makes each canvas alive and deep. Light, both natural and artificial, brings a complexity that makes it different, according to each angle of view, according to each time of day or each season.

Nadée lives and works in Paris and Marseille. « To paint is to be there. Feel both my own presence and that of the world around me. It is to perceive as a vast expanse that is within. A kind of "internal Beyond" » « My plastic research seems to me to be an involuntary journey populated by a multiplicity of perceptions. I take a lot of photographs. Often simple and evocative things. Traces of stains on stones, leaves, reflections in the water... All these elements are like little seeds that contribute to the development of a new work, a new series. These elements can be superimposed on others, associated with memories, to come out in the painting in another form. I am sensitive to all sorts of details. Colors, smells, sounds, shadows, shapes. Small, sometimes insignificant elements can all be a path to explore, consciously or unconsciously. I prefer to use natural materials. I favor the unison of cold or warm colors in a monochrome allowing to express a kind of unity. I associate them with white and gold. Pigments or vegetable inks. I include gold or bronze powder which symbolizes both the sacred and the light. Blue is the color I use most often. The colors should be in harmony. A shades of blue will generate a softness, I prefer not to affix warm colors to it which will seem more flashy. The use of white, often by covering oil pastels, allows me to achieve a harmonic impression. A feeling of calm, tranquility, silence. I am interested in simplicity of means. I am sensitive to the touch of materials, and I work on supports of plant origin »
