ABOUT THE ARTWORK
It is a study of a still life. The vase is lit with warm light, and the shadows of the blinds are visible on the background and on the vase. The whole is kept in green and gray. It is an elegant, minimalist and sophisticated painting. It has a quiet, mysterious, but also warm atmosphere. Painting of this work of art was a long process: one year of patient application of successive semitransparent layers of paint. It is very laborious and time-consuming technique: each subsequent layer of paint is applied on the already dried layer. But thanks to them the painting has its depth and luminosity.
