Gouache and oil colors on canvas from 2019. The theme of the painting is related to our heritage and bloodlines. The attention is captured by the red column positioned in golden ratio suggesting the blood in our veins, genetics and what is given by our ancestors. On the left and right side of the aorta there are little 'figures' reminding of all the lives that has been lived to make our existence possible. The artwork is a travel on vascular level, surrounded by the meta level of life cycles of our families and our own life time cycle if we are looking to ourselves as biological machines. The idea is to transcend this thought, get conscious of our souls and immense power of a creating and creative mind. Become aware of the epigenetic we can overcome. Be grateful for all the blessings and good properties and qualities you've got and change all those you don't agree anymore with. If you wish and choose, reproduce yourself and prolong the given bloodline. I see this painting as an photo album with abstract family pictures.
