This work was born by observing a fabric. A simple object has been transformed into color, which moves in the white space of the canvas. Elisa lives and works in northern Italy. Painting has always been her dream, since she was a child her intent was to express herself through a language made of images. She studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino and once she graduates, she works in the fashion field, with the possibility of observing and studying fabrics of all types. Fabrics have become the main subjects of her works. Her fabrics take her back to the ancient work of weaving and embroidery, a slow, feminine job that is passed down from mother to daughter. In this way she wants to lead the observer to slow down and observe what is different or far from himself. In addition to creating paintings with mixed media on canvas, she also creates three-dimensional works, with recycled fabrics. To create them she looks for all those items that can no longer be used, she washes them and divides them by color in her studio, at the end she assembles them and applies them to the canvas or other materials as if they were colored brushstrokes. In this way she gives life to objects that can no longer have them.
