ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is a visionary painting of an angel woman, goddess. I was inspired to paint this because of my love of the decorative and the idea of the Goddess and Earth Mother. I wanted to create a tattoo image that was beautiful and accentuated the tribal and primitive elements of this piece. I chose oil because it is beautiful intense colour and also very sensual to paint with and allows the imagination to flow. The original was exhibited in my solo show ‘Nouveau’ in Southport in 2020 and this painting sold. I hope viewers will appreciate this beautiful image of an angel woman goddess and appreciate it as part of their home or as a gift.
