This artwork was inspired by Rumi and this poem of mine: BLUE MOON IN KONYA Under the blue moon in Konya Where lovers meet Dervishes dance In eternal submission Burning with desire Yearning for the One Waiting for the invitation The blue moon shimmers An opening! In pure ecstasy, Souls ascend Answering the call Reflecting the light Mystical fusion, Now drowning deep, in gratitude, Celebrating, Awakened to the essence In perfect harmony Longing replied with Longing, The journey never ending When will the blue moon rise again?
