ABOUT THE ARTWORK
As with most of my works, 'Blue Prisms' reflects the drama and beauty of a fierce Thunderstorm one afternoon. With large palette a large palette knife, the canvas took deep mixing, scrapes and markings swiftly blending blues, teal, black and yellows. It is a visual story that is exciting and has bold character. Painted on linen canvas. Wired and ready to ship. My wish is that viewer enjoy the movement and subtle and bold beauty of the composition that creates a thought provoking conversation. I paint to make walls beautiful and interesting for my clients.

.My journey as a creative started very young. I have always loved color and being outdoors. Today, I am a contemporary artist that paints abstracts and abstract expressionism. I paint with a strong revererance for both beauty and the variations of nature as I have traveled extensively. My work is described as serene and I view it as a refuge from a hectic world as I observes and feels the reflection of light, shadow and mood. A favorite theme is coastal or the land. My style is non-representational or abstracted using a variety of tools with a faith in my design principles and heart as I approach the canvas. Painting is a visual story I tell that is often said to be uplifting and my clients enjoy that aspect of my work. I have a B.A. in Advertising, Layout and Design and minor in photography from New Mexico State University.
