ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This "Blue Waterlily Garden" artwork reflects my experiences during my daily walks by the watergardens. It beautifully showcases the character of the waterlily garden as the seasons change, encouraging us to appreciate the gentle beauty that nature continuously reveals. Regardless of rain or shine, the charm of the garden remains constant. Picture a garden of water lily leaves floating on a serene blue-green pond, feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin, and watching it rise and set over the leaves. The pink lilies glow under the moon and stars, basking in the sunlight alongside us. In this piece, I challenged myself to paint with brushes including thin knife strokes after years of exclusively using knives, pushing my creative boundaries. Underneath layers painted with acrylic and oil has been mixed for the top layers. The blue waterlily pond holds symbolic meanings that radiate positive energy, peace, beauty, purity, and divinity. The lily pads, painted with thick brush strokes, are vibrant and colorful, adding a unique touch to the artwork. One or two flowers are painted with knives yet only texture is visible just to give the impressions. The many shades of aqua blue created during the painting process cannot be fully captured in photographs, making the artwork even more special. -There is approx. 3-4 cm space left at the edges for stretching purpose (it is painted on 2 cm thick canvas. -Colors may vary from monitor to monitor. -Interior photos that are displayed are for reference, may not be SCALE. -Signed in the side, as well as a certificate of authenticity signed by myself.
