Lying on giant water lily leaves, floating on a smooth blue green pond, sun stroking the skin once pink and sore to the slightest touch of a sweet breeze, watching the sun, rise and settle upon leaf and beyond leaving the glowing to the pink lilies shining with the moon and stars and sleeping in the sun with us, evaporate the darkness and sunburn, now cast aside by thick blossoming foliage. Blue waterlily pond has symbolic meanings which has power to improve the flow of positive energy and serenity, calmness, beauty, purity and divinity. waterlily have been known to represent the creation of several goddess and gods. Therefore, a waterlily is considered a symbol of the divine world, purity, elegance and everything eternal in this world. In the spiritual sense, this flower is often said to represent freedom from the material aspects of life. This could be because it is peaceful and relaxed but still cannot be accessed due to the surroundings in which it grows. Waterlilies are thus a popular symbol of purity and chastity in many cultures. The texture is impasto and crackled which is thick, powerful, bright and happiest ever and painted with palette knives. The painting continues around the sides of the canvas which is gallery wrapped 4 cm edges , giving this artwork a highly unique and contemporary finish. The painting is provided ready to hang and framing is not required. (Please note that the interior room is for visual reference only ) Poem Inspiration - Anita Alig
