Blue Print

The work focuses on the topic of multiculturalism – it's about the processes and conflicts that can occur when it comes to the intimacy between people of different ethnicities. People can find a common language and decide to connect with an open mind, facing the front to each other as shown in the rest of the set, or to differ about their roots, moving away & turning their backs on each other. Contemporary aesthetics & clothes of the models are to indicate that the problem is still actual & valid, despite the progressive century we live in. Colours of the clothes are three basic colours: red, blue & yellow and they symbolize different ethnicities that mix just like colours, creating unique people & shades. The backgrounds are in the colour of three basic metals: bronze, golden and silver and they symbolize that there is no 1st, 2nd and 3rd place when it comes to people’s heritages and ethnicities and that everyone is equal. It also connects with the idea of the two ways you can look at the paintings: with people facing each other and moving away.
