As an artist, I am deeply inspired by the natural beauty of the world around me. Growing up in Villahermosa, Tabasco Mexico, I was surrounded by lush forests and vibrant wildlife, and these elements continue to influence my work today. After earning my bachelor's degree in graphic design, I moved to New Mexico in 2002, where I was struck by the stark beauty of the desert landscape. I began incorporating these new influences into my art, using bold colors and sweeping brushstrokes to capture the rugged textures of the Southwest. My work is characterized by its dynamic energy and vivid colors. Whether I am painting a landscape or a floral, I strive to imbue each piece with a sense of movement and emotion. As an artist, I believe that my role is to capture the essence of the world around me, to distill it into something that is both beautiful and meaningful. Through my art, I hope to inspire others to see the world in a new light, to appreciate the intricate details and vibrant colors that surround us every day.
