ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Living close to the beach, painting boats is a must for me. These sailing boats at sunset are waiting for the tide to come in to set sail. The used medium is oil paint witch is perfect for a smooth contrast of the evening sun against the reflective tidepools left behind by the sea. I hope the viewer of this painting gets a sense of calmness looking at the painting. Just as the boats are in no hurry, and just waiting for the tide.
