My name is Kristina ( alias Chernaya Rechka). I'm independent an artist from Kyiv, Ukraine. I'm 26 y.o.
I started to do art since my early childhood. I ended up Schevchenko Art School, faculty of painting. After graduation I continued study by myself, devoding all my time to practice and explore.
In my works, I study the unity of life on earth, the interweaving of reality and dreams, fairy tales. In all my paintings there is always a character with his alter ego: a man and an animal. Less often, a person and a landscape: then the second essence of a person is mountains, a tree, the moon, etc.
Colors in my works are brought to the brink of their non-existence: at every border point, the source of the balance of being opens up for me. Through the language of my paintings, I try to translate my I, merging with a single stream of all that exists, and at the same time feeling the individual experience of this intercourse, striving from within to express itself in the form of art.
