ABOUT THE ARTWORK
"Breakup Cycle" explores the different emotions one goes through while experiencing a Breakup. It was inspired by a series of torn letters from an ex-lover to another, but the letters were never sent to its intended recipient. With the permission of the author, I went through the debris and handpicked the pieces that encapsulates the feeling of the author at that point of time. I have chosen to compartmentalise the colours as each feeling comes and go in a drastic manner. One feels anger, sadness, frustration, numb, melancholy, loneliness, happiness and finally free. Each feeling is so apparent and demands to be felt.
