Art has always been a huge part of my life. I think I was born to be an artist, and I have now settled on painting plein air pictures with oils after doing watercolors for 25 years, then a short time with pastels. I am "self-taught", which only means no college training. I learned through hundreds of classes, workshops, and art books. I still read every art book I can get my hands on and take an occasional workshop, although I've learned that miles on the brush is the best teacher. along with experimentation. I exhibit at a tasting room in Healdsburg, CA, and a hotel-restaurant in Santa Rosa, and some group websites. I enter a few local shows annually and have many awards from them. I have collectors nationally.
