ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Acrylic painting on a 40 x 40 cm canvas, cca 1,5 cm thick. The painting is protected with semigloss professional acrylic varnish spray. With a use of thick layers of paint and layers of moulding paste there are same 3D effect created on the surfaceThe painting is interesting and very different if turned (counter) clockwise. Sides are painted to exhibit the painting without the need of an additional frame. As an underlaying motive, I was following a basic shape of the anatomic human heart. But the shape is deconstructed, "broken", restructured and reinvented in expressive play with material, layers and colours. Light and darkness screaming and whispering about powerful emotions.
