About The Artwork
A busy little garden is a lovely place to be. A painting inspired by an acquaintance I made on Instagram. A fellow artist, her work moves me to tears. Referred to me by lovely Irina, a Russain art lover, I find myself dancing around a garden that is loved by the world - Poland comes to mind as well. So does Iran and Bowral, a small country town in New South Wales where tulips grow as if they really do belong there. Painted in Acrylic paint, I've applied a different technique this time. Three different sized palette knives run over the canvas and fill the background with texture and shape. The detail is the work of a brush gently coaxing out the little flowers. Some are shy! The original piece is for sale. Prints are available as well.
