Erekle Kereselidze was born in 1975 in Tbilisi (Georgia). From early childhood, he was very interested in painting and sculpture. Thus, he decided to choose a career as a professional artist. After graduating from high school in 1992, Erekle Kereselidze entered the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, Faculty of Monumental Plastic Arts, but later switched to the Faculty of Sculpture, which he successfully graduated in 1998. The period of studying at the Academy coincided with painful historical events in Georgia, such as the civil war and very difficult socio-economic conditions. All this had a negative impact on the population of the country, including the representatives of the arts. Therefore, many artists and sculptors had no choice but to leave their homeland and try their luck abroad. Erekle was no exception when he started looking for alternative jobs in the above-mentioned period; However, at the same time he continued to work in his field, especially in graphics. Erekle Kereselidze is the author of illustrations for several historical publications. (Giorgi Saakadze: the author of the book is Gogi Tarkhanmouravi.) Erekle Kereselidze continues his fruitful creative activity and is in permanent search. Recently, he has been particularly interested in military motifs and battle scenes. The artist hopes that the best in his professional life is yet to come
