ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I often look for inspiration in the forest. What surprises me most is the fractality of nature: if you look closely at a leaf, it resembles a tree. The vein of a leaf is a forest. Cells under a microscope are little worlds. So I like to look closely at little corners of the forest and look deeper, be closer. Closer still If you look at a tree stump from afar, it's just a tree stump. But up close, it becomes a small ecosystem with its own landscape and inhabitants. One day I looked at the first stump I saw and I was overwhelmed by the number of colors, shapes and textures. And I realized I couldn't help but paint such beauty. And now you see a little piece of the forest of watercolor worlds.

My name is Wladzia, I am an artist from Kyiv, Ukraine. Now I live and paint in Cracow, Poland. After studying at the Faculty of Architecture I became interested in painting and graphics.
