Although he had always drawn and painted alongside these two other careers, it was in the 1980s that he became aware of his artistic vocation. The dazzling colors of Piet MONDRIAN's frames and the mathematical rigor of those of François MORELLET revealed what would be his line of work. He met many artists and became friends with Gérard SCHLOSSER. He learned a lot about the technique and the means necessary to carry out his future projects. It was only in 2002 that he began his life as a painter who had become hyperrealist and narrative, engaging in the most accomplished expression of a pictorial movement born at the end of the 1960s in the United States and within which he applies the demand for abstraction from his beginnings. He exhibits from 2005. He produces a few paintings per year. He lives and works in Ardèche.
