Ema Kato is an artist, born and raised in Kampala, Uganda. He currently lives and works in Kampala where he owns a studio. His art is inspired by nature and the beauty of humans. Ema creates colorful, textured paintings and collages on canvas using acrylics, oils and fabrics. His artworks express the beauty of nature through various subjects including landscape paintings, animal art, portraits and sometimes abstract art. Ema has been able to exhibit and sell his art across Uganda, in Europe, USA and some Asian countries both physically and online through different platforms. Ema attended school and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Fine Art and Design from Makerere University, Kampala. ARTIST STATEMENT: It's hard to ignore the beauty of nature and humans, that's why I decided to give them so much attention through my art ever since I became a full time artist. I use color and texture to deeply express the undoubted beauty.
